Mini PC Testing
- 12V/5A power source record power consumption(12V) with different use cases @VenuMadhav , please setup ( with adapter, use one DC jack male female extension cable with ammeter in series using Banana jack)
- connect 10" display with mini PC USB and HDMI3.
- Test without hardware keyboard. use on-screen keyboard
- Check graphics driver, or mini PC graphic capability for 3D rendering
- Use any PC bench-marking software and evaluate the performance
- run specific resource loading software and check resource ustilisation, heating, power
- cover mini PC with thermocole sheet and run resource loading application and check thermal performance
- Check resource utilization with different acq. duration and graph
- check all interfaces (WiFi with RF ext. cable, USB, HDMI, ...)

Mini-PC Evaluation and Validation Activities Completed
1.Setup completed for Thinvent Treo Mini-PC (Intel N100) with 10" touchscreen display.
2.Verified display connectivity through HDMI and touch functionality through USB interface.
3.Verified operation without external hardware keyboard using Windows On-Screen Keyboard.
4.Measured power consumption under various operating conditions (Boot-up, Windows Idle, Browser + WiFi, Video Playback).
5.Verified Intel UHD Graphics driver installation through Device Manager.
6.Verified DirectX acceleration using dxdiag.
7.Performed 3D rendering/WebGL graphics validation and confirmed successful rendering without graphical issues.
8.Verified GPU utilization during graphics testing.
9.Executed CPU benchmark using Windows System Assessment Tool (winsat cpu) and confirmed stable operation.
10.Performed resource loading evaluation and verified system stability under load conditions.
11.Completed interface validation for USB, HDMI, WiFi, Ethernet, touchscreen, and on-screen keyboard functionality.
12.Verified Ethernet communication including link establishment, ping connectivity, and file transfer operation.
13.Conducted thermal performance evaluation using thermocol-covered enclosure conditions.
14.Thermal test executed continuously for 3 hours.
15.Observed chassis temperature progression:
15.1 1 Hour: 42.0°C
15.2 2 Hours: 43.6°C
15.3 2.5 Hours: 44.0°C
15.4 3 Hours: 44.5°C
Played an 8K Ultra HD video on the display and monitored CPU temperature using HWiNFO. What data i mentioned above that by external thermometer.
The temperature remained within acceptable limits during the test.Observed CPU core temperature approximately 80°C during testing.
16. No reboot, shutdown, display issues, touchscreen issues, or thermal throttling observed during the test duration.
17.Overall system operation remained stable throughout validation activities.
Result: All executed Mini-PC validation tests completed successfully and passed.

Mini-PC endurance and validation test completed.
The Mini-PC was kept running continuously from 6:00 PM on the previous day until 9:30 AM the following day (~15.5 hours).
Observations:
1.The Mini-PC remained operational throughout the test duration.
2.No unexpected shutdowns or reboots were observed.
3.VAS GUI application was running continuously without any hang, freeze, or abnormal behavior.
4.The measured Mini-PC chassis temperature was 45.7°C after the endurance run.
5.System performance remained stable during the test period.
6.Display and touchscreen functionality were verified and found to be operating normally.
Result:
The Mini-PC successfully passed the long-duration endurance and thermal stability test.

The Thinvent Treo Mini-PC has been running continuously since yesterday 09:30 AM with the VAS GUI application and waterfall graph active throughout the test duration.
For thermal stress evaluation, the Mini-PC was placed inside a box and covered from the top to simulate restricted airflow conditions.
Current observations:
1.No unexpected shutdowns or reboots observed.
2.VAS GUI application and waterfall graph continue to run without any hang or abnormal behavior.
3.CPU temperature, utilization, and system parameters are being monitored using HWiNFO.
4.Current chassis temperature measured using an external temperature gauge is 53°C.
5.Current CPU core temperature is approximately 95°C.
6.No display issues, touchscreen issues, application crashes, or thermal throttling observed.
7.System remains stable under continuous operation.
Supporting screenshots of HWiNFO, VAS GUI, waterfall graph, and temperature measurements have been captured for reference.
Status: Testing is ongoing and the system continues to operate normally.

Additional power validation testing was performed using a regulated bench power supply set to 12V and 2.5A current limit. The Mini-PC was operated continuously for 30 minutes while recording current consumption at 5-minute intervals. Observed current ranged from 0.9A to 2.045A. The device remained stable with no reboot, shutdown, hang, or abnormal behavior. Screenshots of the power supply readings were captured for reference
